Richard Madsen has a comprehensive legal background, both in his own work and also in supervising corporate staff attorneys and the activities of various law firms in the United States and Europe.  He has advised clients in a wide range of business matters for more than 30 years. 

His experience includes drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, employment and consulting agreements, lending arrangements, licensing agreements, employee benefit plans, mergers and acquisitions and both domestic and international joint venture and teaming agreements.  In addition, Mr. Madsen has experience in property development and general real estate matters, and has also supervised major litigation matters involving several hundred million dollars in claims.

Prior to joining Benchmark Law Group PC, Mr. Madsen spent twenty years as Vice President and General Counsel to Rohr, Inc., a large aerospace company in San Diego, California, having revenues of more than a billion dollars prior to its acquisition by the Goodrich Corporation.  Before that, he practiced business law in the corporate and private environment and had been an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Nevada. 

Mr. Madsen received his J.D. degree from Georgetown Law Center in Washington D.C. and is admitted to practice law in California.
